This new member of the Piccolo family is the best yet!
The output stage uses the much admired KT150 in Class A single ended mode for the sweetest sound, added to that an all valve Phono stage designed for Mingda by Audio Detail, this is one powerful and versatile amplifier!
Hand assembled with point to point circuitry for a long service life. As is the case with all Mingda amplifiers, this amplifier will give you loads of fun “out of the box” and for many years to come. Along with the reassurance of a UK 3 year warranty on the amplifier and we also give 1 year on the valves, for your piece of mind!
Powerful
Class A, 25W per channel utilizing the well known KT150 valves from Tungsol, with alternatives now available from both Psvane and KR Audio, and a simple bias meter to set the bias, Valve rolling is there to be enjoyed, to tune your amp for perfection..
Audio Detail Phono stage
This amplifier not only has an excellent Class A amplifier, but also offers a high quality all valve low noise phono stage, designed in Malvern by Audio Detail. Each amplifier gets a bit of further fine tuning on arrival, for the best possible sounds.... You can just connect the turntable as an audio input direct to the amplifier and then out to the speakers. So it is much simpler to use a turntable, than having to source a separate Phono stage and amplifier..... It is also very practical, saving a lot of space in your listening room, in addition this stunning amplifier offers a highly cost effective solution.
Mingda use Japanese Z11 silicon sheet EI laminations to wind our own output transformers and mains transformers in house to guarantee the reliability and sound quality.
Naturally, we supply a remote volume control for ease of use within your listening area.
**With an option of upgrade to not only Volume, but remote input selection as well!
